Hi, I’m Edward (aKA Shadow)

I began my formal musical training via the Suzuki Violin Method at age 5, eventually discovering viola as a teen. I studied with Karen Ritscher at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and with Ferenc Czesko at the University of Idaho.
Classically, I have served as Principal Violist of the Washington Idaho Symphony and played with the Walla Walla Symphony, Cascadia Composers, Classical Revolution PDX, ARCO PDX and Cult of Orpheus.
Currently, I am spending my musical time outside of work writing original music.
I teach violin and viola, as well as beginning music theory and songwriting/composition, to students of all ages.
